Not For Tourists. On Monday, November 8, 2021, Naugatuck Railroad Freight/Railroad Museum of New England N-5 Caboose 507 is shoved by U23B NAUG 2203 (ex-PW 2203, née-CR 2798, 6/1977) through Thomaston, Connecticut, over Jericho Bridge and the Naugatuck River. The crew is on the way to pick up loaded cars at the Frost Bridge Transfer Facility in Watertown, Connecticut to interchange with Pan Am Railways. While the railroad is more popularly known for its passenger tourist trains, freight has been a regular part of the operation for several years.
