There are a lot of famous street running tangents around the country, but for me, this is "the one". I grew up here in the 70's & 80's, I couldn't have asked for more...but the line is down to one train, so to have a "meet" with the geometry train (which took place just south of here) was an event not to be missed. I could easily have shot at every intersection if I'd been able to, but chose the site of where the Amtrak depot once stood between Court & Chestnut with a "face" that could have easily been guiding "The Floridian" into town way back when. The depot property is now a 7-11. Geometry trains have been visiting the region frequently in the past year, the TGC1 set ran here in August.
