Trains 27 and 28. When Webb Rail acquired former New York Central Railroad Budd built Pullman obs/diner/sleeper "Babbling Brook" (WEBX 800007), its original tailsign had been lost to history and the several owners since NYC. A reproduction faithful to that original design was manufactured and installed, with back lighting easily controlled from a switch in the lounge. Delivered by Budd in 1949, New York Central purchased the Babbling, Plum, Fall and Bonnie Brooks as part of equipping the "New England States" (Trains 27 and 28, Boston, Massachusetts/Chicago, Illinois) to be an all Pullman train.
