The new look of the Northern Central Railway. The Northern Central Railway's beautiful "York 17" hauls her 4 car passenger train south through Seitzville, PA, just north of the Grainary Road crossing on a cool morning in November of 2021. In the nine years it has been in operation, Pennsylvania's Northern Central Railway has gradually expanded its trackage and the variety of history-themed excursions it offers. It has also expanded its train consist from two to four cars and made significant improvements in the overall look of its equipment. The white tires and garish reds that existed on the locomotive when it was first delivered from the Kloke Locomotive Works have been replaced with somewhat more subdued colors and the rolling stock now sports a darker, consistent paint scheme. Each coach also carries a name on the side of it. It is quite a handsome train and very much an eye-catcher as it winds its way through the farmland of South Central Pennsylvania.
