Built in 1874, the shops and yard at Burnham, located a couple of miles south of downtown Denver, Colorado, were the main shop facilities for Rio Grande. In this later view on December 7, 2015, Union Pacific locomotives are repaired and serviced in the newer Diesel House opened in 1965. Lined up on the north end of Track Nos. 1 to 4 are four locomotive models from Electro-Motive Division and General Electric are represented by EMD SD70M No. 4698, EMD SD70ACe No. 8543, GE AC4400CW-CTE No. 5901 and GE ES44AC No. 7812.
