A switching crew handles duties with SOO GP9s nos. 402 and 403 in one on their yard in Superior, WI. Although The Twin Ports were known for their Missabe and GN ore docks, Soo Line had more lines in/out of the Ports than any other carrier. They had five lines heading west, south & east, and handled grain, iron ore and overhead traffic to/from Canada. They shared an ore dock with Northern Pacific in Superior.
