Three Delaware & Hudson U33C’s have drawn the assignment as the Jefferson Junction “puller” job during the Belden Hill tunnel enlargement project. A southbound train’s road power has uncoupled from its train just north of Lanesboro, Pennsylvania on the Penn Division, and has proceeded south to Jefferson Junction, where it has backed in the clear. Now the puller job will pull the train under my vantage point on the Starrucca Viaduct, and continue south toward the end of track at Brandt. The road power will then couple to the other end of the train and complete the journey to Binghamton.
