CN Q105 soars across the impressive 799' Little Jackfish River viaduct with Montreal Taschereau, PQ - Vancouver Thornton, BC stacks. The river here is a diversion built in the 1940's between Canada/United States routing water that would flow into Hudson Bay to go into Lake Nipigon and then into Lake Superior and the Great Lakes. The rock was blasted out to make a channel with the opposite side reinforced with concrete to prevent erosion.
For the most part, this section of CN is very isolated, and as an employee I am able to gain access. CN's Bala, Ruel, Soo, Caramat, Allanwater, and Redditt Subs are all featured.
