An auto train bound for Barstow from San Diego, awaits a new crew at Ono. Behind the BNSF power are Coaster's five F40PH-2Cs, on a very circuitous route from San Diego to Anaheim (which they passed by already many miles back). Because of how BNSF works, in order to get the retired engines switched into the scrapyard, they have to go all the way to Barstow, then be brought down to La Mirada, and only from there be pulled back to Anaheim. Rumor has it that three are going to be scrapped and two will go to museums.
