Last of its kind... what is believed to be now the only remaining C40-8M on CN's active roster, and definitely the only one still wearing BC Rail's red, white, and blue, is unbelievably leading intermodal traffic on yet another transcon journey. On borrowed time, the veteran is captured here dutifully cruising northbound over the Byng Inlet approaching Britt on the directional running zone shared with CP. CN's Dash-8s have been methodically scrapped, sold, or planned to be over the last couple years and with only a handful remaining, it was a must to get out for this one, likely for the last time.
