Mixed Consist.
On Sunday, July 10, 2022, the NY Transit Museum ran it's Beach Bound: Coney Island nostalgia ride, with a train of R1-9 "Arnines" and BMT AB Standards making the journey from 96th St to Coney Island via the Brighton Line. After arriving at Coney Island, the train made one run up the West End Line to 38th St Yard and back, giving the venerable AB Standards some time in the lead. Car no. 2390 (American Car & Foundry, 1914-1919) was the lead motor for the southbound trip. The view here at Fort Hamilton Pkwy station nicely shows the mixed consist as it rounds the curve from 9th Ave.
