In 2014, a six axle Johnson Railway Services locomotive sits on the Pickens Railroad in Anderson, South Carolina at Mile Marker 557 of the old Charleston and Western Carolina McCormick to Anderson segment. Pickens took over the part of the line just south of her to Anderson in the 1990s. Most of the rest of the line was abandoned by CSX.
This locomotive was a rare beast in 2014. It was built by General Electric as Burlington Northern Railroad (BN) 5035 in 1979
Shortly after this photograph was made, it was repainted for Cargill and shipped off to a grain facility at Viking, Alabama under CLCX reporting marks.
