| Cogwheel railcar Bhe 1/2 # 30 of the Pilatus Bahnen, in the publicity paint scheme for Karl F. Bucherer watchmaker of Lucerne, is running down as part of train CC 22 below Pilatus Kulm. This railcar was built in 1967 and has a slightly other shape then the # 21 to # 28 from 1937. You can clearly see the cogwheels of the Locher system, which grab the rack rail from the side. The maximum grade of the railway is 48.0 %, the steepest worldwide. |
