On August 9, 2022, it was 175 years to the day since the first Swiss railroad began operations in 1847. The Schweizerische Nord Bahn (Swiss Northern Railway SNB) ran on the 23 kilometers between Baden and Zurich and is popularly known as the "Spanish Brötli Railway". The anniversary was celebrated with invited guests with a special train from Baden to Zurich and an event at the Zurich Altstetten repair center. The 2-10-0 Gotthard freighttrain steamlocomotive C 5/6 # 2978 "Elephant" (built 1917) of SBB Historic brought the 8 car train with the guests from Baden to Zürich main station (with help from "Crocodile" Ce 6/8 III # 14305 due to high fire risk between Baden and Zürich Vorbahnhof) and is now entering Zürich main station on track 10. The cars with open platforms are from SBB Historic and Dampfbahn Zürcher Oberland (DVZO). In the first car, fouraxle C4 # 9002 of 1909, travelled the federal councillor Simonetta Sommaruga and the CEO of the SBB, Vincent Ducrot, among others.
