The CNJs. Former Central Railroad of New Jersey (CNJ) GP7 1524 returned from extended lease to Cape May Seashore Lines in Tuckahoe, New Jersey in 2022. Its placement allowed fro this “combo shot” with visiting NJ TRANSIT GP40PH-2B 4109 (CNJ Heritage, ex-NJT 4106, née-CNJ 3677, GP40P, 10/1968) on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the United Railroad Historical Society of NJ facility in Boonton, New Jersey. While these engines once operated for the same railroad in the same place, they had been separated for over 2 decades before being reunited for the “Museum For A Day” event in Boonton, New Jersey.
