The Agawa Canyon tour train rolls northbound skirting the remote shoreline of Trout Lake, home to only a handful of residents and known as the "MP 57 community" just north of Mashkode. It's accessed only by long, rugged backroads and a boat launch now with the flag stop passenger service no longer available since CN cut the service in 2014. At least with the CN sale of the railroad earlier in the year to Watco, it's been fittingly renamed the Agawa Canyon Railway, allowing a return of the ACR banner and its Algoma Central roots.
