| The Golden Isles Terminal Railroad rests at the south end of the yard awaiting its next assignment. The Sidney Lanier bridge can be seen in the background. This shortline railroad is used by the Georgia Port Authority to assist with the loading/unloading of imported automobiles. The railroad began operations in 1998, taking over from the Colonel's Island Railroad. |
