Manitou & Pikes Peak Railway 0-4-2T locomotive no. 1 (Baldwin Locomotive Works, 1890), originally named the John Hulbert, is seen on display at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, CO. One of three locomotives originally built for the rack railway, no. 1 features a sloped frame that would allow the boiler to be level on a 16% slope!
