Handle with care: A "high profile" load on the WW&F - Part 8. Here's a north-facing aerial, showing how WW&F #9 has positioned the flat holding the shelter at the end of the industrial siding at Top of the Mountain, where the crew is now tying it down. Shortly, the train will be cut between the remaining idler flat and the loaded flat. Number 9 will then withdraw the caboose and the idler flat back onto the main for transport back to Sheepscot.
Note the tiny shack adjacent to the excavator parked beyond the train. Until now, that little shack has been the only station facility at Top of the Mountain.
