The interior of Amtrak's restored Elizabethtown station - built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1915
Though deteriorating and closed by Amtrak in 1977, the station was renovated in 2009. The completed station was unveiled in a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 4, 2011. Today, the Elizabethtown station is unstaffed, all tickets from the station need to be pre-paid, purchased from Quik-Trak, or from a conductor on board the train.
