Passing the Fullerton Transportation Center (the old Santa Fe station, built in 1930, now serving Amtrak and Metrolink) is BNSF Railway's UPS Expedited Intermodal train Z-LACWSP1-07U (Los Angeles CA to Willow Springs IL), with a sextet of BNSF locomotives up front: ES44AC 6225, ES44C4 6688, ES44C4 8289, Dash 9-44CW 4612, Dash 9-44CW 5121 and ES44C4 4249, pulling 58 loaded cars. "Fun Fact" No. 1: The oldest locomotive on this train (4612) was built 26 years after Engineer Will Stritch hired on with the Santa Fe Railway in 1974, and 28 years after Conductor Tim Bradley hired on. Together, the two crewmen in the cab of 6225 have a combined 100 years of experience operating trains! And, no surprise here … they are each Number 1 on the old ATSF Coast Lines roster. "Fun Fact" No. 2: If you look closely at the station's doors, you can see that one was shattered when thieves broke into the station and stole an ATM sometime early in the morning.
