Standards and Skylines.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) AB Standard no. 2390 (ACF, 1914-1919) is seen leading a mixed train of Standards and R1-9 "Arnines" onto the IND Culver Line structure north of Ditmas Ave. The train was out for a NY Transit Museum nostalgia ride in celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit Corporation, founded on June 15, 1923, and operated free rides on BMT cars on what was originally a BMT line. Though the line south of here was originally a BMT line, in this scene the train is on original IND tracks built in the 1950s to "recapture" the BMT line and incorporate it into the IND system.
