In the Independence Day spirit, here Amtrak’s Capital Limited is seen coming to a stop at the Amtrak Station in Martinsburg, WV with a special lead engine. The train left Chicago the night before and is not too far from its last stop of Washington, DC. Its only engine, Amtrak #164, is painted in Amtrak’s “Phase IV” paint scheme. Sporting stripes of red, white, and blue, this scheme was introduced in 1993.
