CP 2224 and 2200 bring empty hoppers east along 110 plus year old rail on the Plummer Line - the original Soo Line Thief River Falls to Duluth mainline. In reality, the railroad split from the mainline at Plummer and traveled southeast to Bemidji, Federal Dam, Remer, and Moose Lake before turning toward Superior, Wisconsin. Twenty miles of the mainline remain intact and host seasonal gravel trains to Trail, Minnesota.
