PCC In Port Richmond. Former SEPTA PCC 2141 (née-PTC 2141, Retired 10/1996, GOH 7/84, built St. Louis Car Company, 6/1948) was a long time resident of a lot on Erie Avenue where six former SEPTA PCCs had been sitting for decades. The Kensington Pub in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania acquired this car and cosmetically restored the front and placed it in the outdoor area of the pub, painting it in the Philadelphia Transportation Company (PTC) colors. The pub is located about a mile from the present day Route 15, and the car makes a nice display piece to complement the surroundings.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
