At a glance, if you didn't look too long driving by, you'd swear it was 1986 and this was an ex-CRR/SCL duo. In reality, even more amazing, is the fact FCEN leased a US Sugar geep after they lost CF7 #50 (waiting to be scrapped) and SW1200 #94 (sold to Locomotive Services of Waycross), leaving chop nosed GP9 #60 to handle the rather large volume of work on the relatively short Gordonsville Spur, between Winter Haven & Bartow. To balance the need for power, two GP15 were purchased, to be delivered in an ACL/SCL inspired paint scheme that was also applied to GP7 #57, which came over from the Frostproof Spur on the last day of October. It & the 311 will return to their respective assignments after the GP15 arrive...at least, that's the plan.
