Snow Enough For The Photos. By the time Amtrak Train 284 passed through the station at Philipse Manor in Sl eepy Hollow, New York on January 7, 2024, the snow had stopped falling for the day. The Tudorbethan architecture style granite block original station building opened in 1911, and is one of only two Hudson Line stations on the National Register of Historic Places (Poughkeepsie is the other), though the station no longer serves commuters and is now the home of the Hudson Valley Writers Center. GE built P32AC-DM 703 wears the Phase III paint scheme that is the standard for the dual mode locomotives in Empire Service.
