September Snow.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R146 no. ST304, a snow thrower buiilt by RPM Tech in 2003, is seen on the front of a transfer train from 38th Street Yard to Coney Island Yard as it approaches 50th St Station on the BMT West End Line. It and ST303, seen at the rear of the train, were the equipment being transferred, likely for inspections. These beasts are quite uncommon to see outside of yards as they are only used to clear deep snow, generally only in yards and on surface and open-cut lines.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
