Remarks & Notes |
Rio Grande #318 (2-8-0) was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, PA in 1896 for the Florence & Cripple Creek Railroad. It was later sold to the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad and ran between mining towns until 1917. It later ran freight trains between Salida, Durango and Montrose, Colorado until it was put on display in 1954 in Alamosa. It was moved to the Colorado Railroad Museum in 1958. |
