| I mainly did the Aurora Sub for my backyard photography growing up. That meant getting C30-7s wasn't too common for me. Those units mainly stayed on coal trains and, for me, were on the Southern Iowa route. Once the BNSF merger happened and the MACs became the main stay power, one could find these units roaming the railroad alot more. One leads a grain train down the Peavine south of Savanna in the late 90s. Scanned slide from September 1996. |
