Constant Comment Train. Due to planned track work on the MTA Metro-North Railroad New Haven Line, Genesee & Wyoming's Providence and Worcester Railroad CHFP (Cedar Hill, CT-Fresh Pond, Queens, NY) departed early on the evening on June 1, 2021. PW C40-8 4050 (née-NS 8694) leads the train through the Fairfield Metro Station next to the headquarters of the Bigelow Tea Company. Founded in 1945 by Ruth C. Bigelow, the variety that she marketed as "Constant Comment" tea was based on a recipe for black tea flavored with orange rinds and sweet spices. Today the company sells more than 50 varieties and is still 100% family owned.
