Markham. During a weekend of excursions on the "B-Line" from Manassas to Front Royal, Virginia, Norfolk & Western 611 passes the long closed Southern Railway depot in Markham, Virginia on June 5, 2016. After its restoration was announced at the "Streamliners In Spencer" event in 2014 at the North Carolina Transportation Museum (NCTM) in Spencer, North Carolina, NW 611 returned to service from 2015-2017 as part of the Norfolk Southern 21st Century Steam program and has since operated in several other states to the delight of large crowds.
