More R211As Continue To Arrive. On the early morning of Tuesday, June 11, 2024, R-211As Metropolitan Transportation Authority/MTA NYCT Subway 4275-4279 were picked up at he South Brooklyn Railway interchange in Brooklyn, New York by 39 Street. R-120s OL909 and OL906 bracketed R-161 RD 411 (ex-R33 8955) as the power set moved to tow the new cars on to the property. With over 200 R-211As now on the property, these trains can now be found frequently in revenue service on the A Line, displacing the R-46s and allowing them to be prepared for retirement after 50 years of service.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
