In this frame pristine in 4-5 feet of snow are in place left by a classic upslope storm on the east side of the Great Divide below Rollins Pass. Traffic was good with several trains after sun up well worth the investment into the hills. Pinecliffe was reporting over 4 feet at this hour and over 5 feet at Tolland making for a slow ride for the crews along the tunnel district along the slide fences. BNSF H-PVODEN1-14 with 5973 in swoosh lettering crawls in the trench around the classic Crescent turn into a softened beautiful full sun view in a sea of endless Moffat Cement. Friday morning March 15, 2024. |
