| The Oensingen-Balsthal Railway (OeBB) celebrated its 125th anniversary on the weekend of June 15/16, 2024. On this occasion, several special trains free for the public circulated between Balsthal and Oensingen and vice versa. 4-4-0 Eb 2/4 # 35 of SBB Historic pulls a very colorfull train with cars of the Oensingen-Balsthal-Bahn between Oensingen and Klus towards Balsthal, with pusher "Mallet" Ed 2x2/2 # 196 of SBB Historic as well. Both steamlocomotive are based in Balsthal and operated by the crew of Balsthal. |
