Budds at BAT. New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) car no. 3736 is on the end of a string of 10 R32 cars being towed through the Brooklyn Army Terminal on the morning of June 11, 2024. The cars were built by Budd in 1964 and 1965, and served the City of New York for over 50 years before being retired in 2022. These cars were being moved to the 65th St Yard, where NYNJ Rail would load them on a barge and float them across the harbor to be scrapped. Included in the consist were: 3736, 3737, 3714, 3715, 3912, 3913, 3655, 3654, 3448, and 3449.
