Morning Skyline. With the Manhattan skyline in the background, the train has arrived in the Oak Point Yard. The power will make a few switching moves with the Y102 on board before heading out to New York & Atlantic Railway to interchange its cars. CSX M701(25) got a bit of a late start out of Selkirk, New York, leading to a daylight arrival in New York City on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. The normal pair of GE wide cabs was supplemented by a few EMDs that were replacing yard power on cycle, making for a nice sight as the sun came up on the Harlem River. This train is a daily turn to bring refuse, lumber, food, construction debris, plastic pellets and other products to and from New York City as the sole daily manifest road train to serve the 5 boroughs.
