| CSX Q583-16 (Nashville,TN-Rocky Mount,NC) glides around the curve at dusk through the quiet community of Stevenson, AL for its first segment of its journey to Chattanooga. CSXT Nº 454 "Spirit of Magnolia" is assigned as the lead motor. It's kind of a breath of fresh air to see Spirit unit still running around the system, as CSX decided to send a bunch of the almost 30-year-old locomotive to Erie to be rebuild into the new CM44AC locomotives. By the end of 2028 all of the AC4400 series would all be rebuild GE's |
