The Big GE Era. Western, New York, and Pennsylvania 6004 (née-CSX 5006, AC60CW) had been recently repainted into the railroad's corporate paint scheme when it was seen sitting at the Olean, New York shops on the night of July 28, 2021. At that time, the WNYP was transitioning from 6-axle Alco to GE power. A number of changes to its freight traffic have taken place in the meantime and the railroad has recently started to remove some of the AC60CWs from service and has acquired four EMD GP15-1s while amending its schedule.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
