From Seaboard Coast Line To Hudson Line. On Friday, August 2, 2024, a late running M701-01 with the crew of Y102 on board passed under the Broadway Bridge in Marble Hill, New York, NY on the Hudson Line with CSXT 8094 (née-SCL 8094, SD40-2, EMD 5/1980) leading. While the presence of a freight train here in daylight has become slightly more common, it is still unusual and moreover it has been quite a while since there was an EMD standard leader on the Selkirk, NY to Oak Point run instead of the GE AC44CWs that have displaced them.
