On August 2, just before 10 a.m., a catenary fault occurred in the Winterthur Tössmühle area. There was a complete disruption to services between Winterthur and Effretikon until around 1.30 p.m., as well as occasionally between Winterthur and Winterthur Töss. In the afternoon at 02.40 PM, repair work could be observed in Winterthur Tössmühle, where 3 tracks from Winterthur join to form a double track in the direction of Kemptthal. Here, a diesel tractor "Ameise" Tm 234 # 207 of the SBB with a Palfinger lifting work basket is in use, together with the assembly wagon Xs 9548 758 with working platform. At this time, the trains were running here on one track at undiminished speed. The repair work was completed at around 18 hrs.
