Lancaster and Chester Railway SW1200 94 and a train sit out the night at the ADM in Kershaw, South Carolina. She was built for the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1957 as PRR 7917, then became a Penn Central unit (PC 9017) after the merger with New York Central and, of course, Conrail (CR 9336) after the government take over of that railroad. Conrail sold it to the L&C in 1996. It was sold by L&C in 2016 to Florida Central as their FCEN 94 and was later sold by that railroad, too.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
