Surflline Debut - After numerous equipment failures within the last few weeks, Amtrak has deployed an array of different equipment originally on standby from Northern California to the southland in an effort to maintain consistent service. In this photo, we see one of the oldest locomotives in the Amtrak fleet taking point of a former NJT set of comet cars, which have since been acquired by Amtrak California, as it glides through the Orange County beaches along the Pacific Ocean.
