Green Light Means Go. On the afternoon of November 20, 2020, North Shore Railroad's Juniata Valley Railroad JVRR 2106 (née-PS/Pittsburg and Shawmut Railroad Company 236 SW9, 11/1953) was returning light from a run to Standard Steel in Burhnam when it passed St. Mark's Episcopal Church at the corner of South Main Street and West Water Street in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. This section of street running is a very popular spot to capture the JVRR, but is normally crowded with traffic. On this cold but sunny November day, it was early and had a fairly open run, but was only in the middle of its work day as it would subsequently pick up box cars in the yard and head to the First Quality facility.
