By January 1966 the DRGW "Royal Gorge" that once ran from Denver to Salt Lake was down to a Salida stub train. Out of Denver it handled a through coach, slumbercoach and sleeper off the Denver Zephyr to Colorado Springs, beyond the Springs it was just a baggage car and a coach. But in a holdover from its days as a through "tourist" train, it still had a "scenic" stop scheduled for Hanging Bridge in the Gorge. Since I was the only passenger on board the crew asked if I wanted to stop. Needless to say I said yes, and walked up front for this picture. It was really dark down in the bottom of this hole on a mid-winter day with ISO 25 (Kodachrome II) film; the original slide was awfully dark, but the miracle of Photoshop allowed me to make a reasonably decent picture out of it.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
