MBEMC is headed west again after working at Clayton County (IA) Salvage. Next stop is Calmar, IA where the trailing engine will take on water. From there it is non-stop to New Hampton, IA and a meet with its westbound counterpart, MMCBE. Before the meet, the MBEMC will drop off cars for VeraSun in New Hampton. With a large block for the Iowa Northern to set out, this train was told to skip the setout and make a mad dash to Mason City before the crew runs out of time.
