The sun rises on the the day Pacific Northwest stood still. Overnight, 6" of snow grind the region to a dead stop. Mountain passes closed, major freeways closed, cars crashed, buses jackknifed (some even hanging over I-5), people stranded. This faithful day in the city that can't even cost the mayor of Seattle his job. But even amongst all chaos, like every other day, wet or dry, the Sounders arrive at King Street Station warm and on time.
