An incredible lashup of 19 UP locomotives head east through Echo Canyon at Emory, Utah. This light engine move began at Stockton, California and will terminate at East North Platte, Nebraska. Reportedly the trailing 16 units were recently pulled from storage pending a return to active service on the Union Pacific roster. Represented in the lash up are GE C40-8, C40-8W, C41-8W and EMD SD60M units all of which are about 20 years old.
