This is the Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley Railway (CACV) which was part of Delaware Otsego Corp. The DO also owned the NYSW by 1982 and had placed one of the original NYSW RS-1's in service on the CACV. The passenger cars are painted in the DO Corporate scheme and lettered for CACV. The Excursion is sitting on the CACV waiting to return to Cooperstown, NY. The track in the foreground is the D&H main from Albany to Binghamton.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
