Here's a peek into Union Pacific's Provo, Utah car shop. At left, TR5 #1875B - 1875A undergoes minor repair work while at right SW9 #1846 receives routine maintenance on 'the jack track'. This steam era steel and glass structure survived until 1981 when UP paid a private contractor to tear it down. I wonder if today the folks at Provo miss having this sturdy shelter from the elements?
